This instrument is suitable for testing the gel strength of gels, gelatin, pectin, hydrogels, silica gel, gellan gum, carrageenan, konjac gum, jams, jellies, cream, butter, honey, yogurt, cheese, dairy products, agar, gum arabic, xanthan gum, and guar gum. The gel strength tester is also called a gel strength meter, gelatin gel strength tester, tissue analyzer, gel strength tester, gel strength meter, or texture analyzer.
