JM-269B Automatic Cone Penetration Detector

Instrument Overview

This instrument is designed, developed, and manufactured according to the People's Republic of China standard GB/T269 "Determination of Cone Penetration of Lubricating Greases and Petroleum Greases" and with reference to the international standard ISO2137 "Determination of Cone Penetration of Lubricating Greases and Petroleum Greases," following its technical requirements and relevant regulations. It is an intelligent, high-precision cone penetration measuring instrument integrating temperature control, measurement, and automatic calculation. It features an integrated high- and low-temperature electronic constant-temperature water bath, eliminating the need for an external low-temperature circulation device. It is suitable for determining the consistency of lubricating greases and petroleum greases, and can also be used to determine the consistency of oil-containing waxes that have not undergone sweating and oil removal. It also conforms to the test methods specified in GB1790 "Pharmaceutical Vaseline," and is used to measure the hardness of lubricating greases, petroleum jelly, pharmaceutical ointments, or other semi-solid substances. It plays an important role in the design, quality control, and identification of product characteristics. It is widely used in petrochemical, medical, new materials, electronics, and food industries.

Performance characteristics

(1) A 7-inch full-color touchscreen human-machine interface with rich and intuitive content, convenient operation, and built-in memory function.

(2) It features an internal thermostatic water bath with heating/cooling functions, achieving a temperature control accuracy of ±0.05°C.

(3) Stepper motor for rapid lifting and lowering + encoder for coarse/fine adjustment, with position memory and automatic cone tip positioning functions.

(4) Frictionless free fall of the cone assembly, high-precision displacement acquisition, and automatic locking of cone penetration.

(5) At the end of each test, the unique test cone assembly automatically grabs and lifts the components.

(6) After all tests are completed, the average cone penetration test results are automatically recorded and calculated.

(7) With 200 data storage functions, you can view historical records at any time and transfer data to a USB flash drive or computer printouts.

(8) Optional features include an RS-485 interface (ModBus protocol) for data networking; or a thermal printer set, one of the two options.

(9) It provides illustrated help information for installation, operation, verification, calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
