Working Principle

The liquid crystal thin film impact tester is directly displayed by LCD, with a resolution of 1mJ, and the display accuracy is 20 times higher than that of the mechanical type. It replaces the pointer indication with coding detection, and increases the original mechanical pointer's 1/40 grid point to the encoder's 1/10,000 grid point. The acquisition accuracy is increased by 250 times.

 The sample to be tested is clamped in the middle of the two splints, and the pendulum is adjusted by the counterweight to form enough mechanical energy to hit the surface of the sample to be tested during the impact process, and to break down or not to break down the sample to be tested. The energy borne by the sample to be tested is the loss part of the total mechanical energy formed by the pendulum during the impact process, and is displayed on the LCD screen.

The design principle of this instrument conforms to the "ASTM D 3420-85 (95) and GB 8809-2015 Plastic Film Anti-pendulum Test Method" standards.

Main Functions:

The instrument uses the hemispherical punch to impact and pass through the film sample at a certain speed, measures the energy consumed by the punch, and evaluates the impact energy of the film sample against the pendulum.

Precautions

During the testing of the sample to be tested, do not place your hands or other items on the path of the pendulum to prevent accidents and affect your work.
