Product Introduction

The dart impact tester uses the dart impact principle and is suitable for determining the impact mass and energy of plastic films or sheets when 50% of the samples break under free-falling dart impact from a given height.

Application areas:
Impact resistance testing of PE cling film, stretch film, PET sheets, food packaging bags of various structures, and heavy packaging; impact resistance testing of aluminum foil and aluminum-plastic composite film; and can be extended to impact resistance testing of cardboard, paper, and shoulder pads through customization.

Test Standards

GB/T 9639.1-2008, ISO 7765-1-1988, ASTM D1709, JIS K7124-1

Principle

Cut a sample to a specific size and clamp it onto the clamp. At the start of the test, first select the test method, estimate an initial mass and Δm value, and then conduct the test. If the first sample breaks, reduce the mass of the falling object by adding weights Δm; if the first sample does not break, increase the mass of the falling object by adding weights Δm, and continue the test sequentially. In short, whether to reduce or increase the mass of the falling object using weights depends on whether the previous sample breaks. After testing 20 samples, calculate the total number of broken samples N. If N equals 10, the test is complete; if N is less than 10, add more samples and continue the test until N equals 10; if N is greater than 10, add more samples and continue the test until the total number of unbroken samples equals 10. Finally, the system automatically calculates the impact result.

Product Features

The color touchscreen allows for convenient and quick setting of test parameters.

It provides two test modes, A and B, and automatically determines the test status.

The dart drops use an electromagnetic attraction principle and can be released automatically, effectively avoiding systematic errors caused by human factors.

The sample is pneumatically clamped, with both manual and foot-operated start modes, and features a unique built-in observation light for convenient, fast, and accurate operation.

Standard configuration includes a mini printer for quick printing of test results.

Professional computer software supports displaying test results in multiple units, graphical display of the test process, output and printing functions, providing a clear and intuitive presentation of results.
